We live in a world of open source or freeware.

Freeware they still expect you to pay at some point if you liekj what you like, although not a strict policy of forcing this. Open source, it is 100% free and open to bugs and such but can be easily updated or fixed by you or I and made as a contribution to the open source product.

I have been a long time Symantec user, was blind to the fact that their antivirus and firewalls where top notch, which I will say they are but to drag the performance of the computer down is no longer acceptable to me.

So when my subscription expired I went looking.
