Some thoughts on Coldfusion 9

Well as we all should know Adobe is working on ColdFusion 9, and from what is publicly available the product is sounding very interesting.
The engine CFML is going through a major overhaul, and from what has been mentioned so far. Is that if even half of what is being talked about make it into the release, it will make the engine very nice to work with.
Adobe seem to be committed to more integration into the rest of their products, so more support for Flex/Air is in the pipeline (more details on Sean Corfield's blog) and it sounds very exciting to hear.
The only thing that I am going to be upset about, I may never get to use some of these new features of ColdFusion. As our company directives have changed, but am going to be loving have a play in what spare time I get though:-)
