Well ok I know I am late on this one.However we were talking about it at work today, and I thought I would dig some info up on it. Whether what is written is a mistake or not, the one thing that does ring true is that if it is open source one can do what this article suggests.
Google on Chrome EULA controversy: our bad, we'll change it
After reading the EULA myself, I am not surprised why people are so upset by it. I can understand if we use their other application services from within Chrome, but hey talk about breaking privacy and intellectual rights to organistations that may use the browser without knowing the consequences.
The last thing we need is an accidental release of personal, and or credit card information via Chrome!
