Microsoft can you get anything right?
Well after having a marathon session, ripping all my cd's over to my HD to be streamed to the Xbox 360. I was annoyed to find that the Xbox 360 has a major flaw that neither the Windows Media player, nor the Playstation 3 seem to suffer from. Well I was all set to sit down and do some more coding on an Application I am working on and listen to some music, when I discovered that the song that I thought should have been played next was not the song that actually got played.It seems that the Xbox 360 in it's wisdom, doesn't obey the play order correctly from the track numbers. Yet the Media Player nor the Playstation 3 seem to have this problem, good one Microsoft.
The actual problem is that it sorts the play order in its correct order, when viewing the list on the Xbox 360. Yet it is played in the order of a numeric sort, so that means track 1, then track 11 then track 12 will be played in that order.
How did something like this not get picked up in testing this feature, do they actually test this stuff at all?
