Free Flex 3 license round 2 USA now follows the UK lead

Well it seems that everyone is blogging how Adobe is giving away a free Flex 3 license to unemployed developers, and I am not going to jump on that same bandwagon.

The question is how many people knew that Adobe UK ran this same program way back in late January or early February, and a link to that program can be found here http://is.gd/n66v. I found out about it in late February and have enjoyed my license, not that I have really had a chance to really got into it as yet. The question is why did it take so long for the USA division to jump onto the band wagon?

The one thing that I will give Adobe credit for here, is that they certainly will generate a lot more interest for Flex 3 product than what they would have otherwise and with version 4 not far around the corner it is a smart move of marketing on their part.

Now I wonder how long it will take Microsoft to follow and run something similar, after all Microsoft are good followers aren't they?

    Microsoft are indeed the ultimate followers. But they do it so well.
