ColdFusion builder and debugging break points not fixed
Tags: Coldfusion
Adobe hade clearly indicated this was fixed and yet after many times of it still failing, they have decided to put it into the too hard basket and have ear marked it for a ColdFusion builder 2.0 alpha 1 release.
One has to ask one thing, the best and most useful feature of the entire application has been pushed aside for now 4+ years. One has to ask, what on earth is more important than being productive?
Oh yeah features, Adobe wish to been seen as making money. Can't blame them, but the one thing is that if I am ever to download a trial version of an application and the number one feature of being able to debug is not supported would I buy the product?
The answer is no, I would not.
The debugger extension has been around for nearly 5 years, and Adobe have ignored its problems and not once has acknowledge the problems it has. Yet now that ColdFusion builder is gaining momentum, the more important thing is to get it out there and make money.
Can't blame Adobe for that, but when you have something in the wild for over 5 years, the best thing would be to fix the damn thing in the first place. Not 2 years later, but now.
