Flash Builder 4 and problems with 64bit eclipse versions
For the last few months I was not able to install Flash Builder into any of my Eclipse instances, and today I found out why that is the case.
First let me explain one thing, 64bit is the way of the future and Adobe seem to be very slow on this uptake. Why, only they will know the answer.
Anyway the error message if anyone has tried to do this, will be that an exception will be thrown that says something about a flash trust file issue. If anyone is to install this as a plugin into a 32bit version of the Eclipse IDE there will be no issues at all and you can work happily.
But if you are running a 64bit version, then until Adobe starts releasing 64bit versions of their software we are just going to have to keep cursing them.

I just migrated over to 64-bit os (win 7 pro) have you heard anything new baout 64-bit installation? I installed the 32 bit version of fb4 fine on it, but have also installed Eclipse 64-bit with java 64-bit, and maybe will install fb4 to see what happens.

The problem here is that the security in place is written in 32bit code, and since will never run on a 64bit JVM.
