ColdFusion Builder and 64bit Eclipse versions
Tags: Coldfusion
Well it seems like this program is suffering the same problems as the Flash Builder 4.
Why is Adobe doing this? All pre-release and beta version worked fine in a 64bit eclipse IDE, and now unless you have a 32bit JVM installed and in your path it seems you can't install builder into any 64bit version of Eclipse.
At work I have ColdFusion Builder installed inside a 64bit Eclipse, and it works. At home no matter what I try to do, it will not install and run as a plugin.
So why is this happening, well Adobe must be compiling certain things for 32bit IDE's and when it comes to Eclipse the 64bit versions are well useless.
Come on Adobe, get your act together and release 64bit software.
