It seems that Apple has done almost everything it can to keep this as quiet as possible, and it appear that they will even try to sue you if you accept a refund as compensation. Asking that you say nothing, or face litigation if you do.
One of the things that the Windows platform has over the Apple Mac's, is that the hackers go where there is more chance to get what they need.
But is that attitude going to be something that Apple can ignore?
As most people will be aware by now Microsoft has started a new campaign that seems to be having mixed feelings through the community, but the question is that are Microsoft looking at converting Mac users over or trying to keep their existing users?
